No, Not Trump, Not Ever

"The American system is not working for [many white Americans], so naturally they are looking for something else."

Indeed they are, but, like many non-whites, are not finding it, neither in the Republican nor in the Democratic party, because between them these two parties form the establishment elite (just as the two mainstream parties do in my own country, in which America has its political roots), and have everything sown up just as they want it, with mainstream media approval and support.

Behind these two influential estates is the third, most powerful estate of all, ACADEMIA, which is heir to and modern counterpart of the medieval clergy, who use their superior brains and authority to rationalise and defend the state and status quo, with serves them personally so well.

Both our countries get periodic changes of government, but the SYSTEM itself remains pretty much the same, dedicated, as all states always has been, throughout history, to facilitating their respective society's SELF-exploitation, to the personal advantage of its ruling elites and favoured (especially wealthy and academic/formerly priestly) clients, at the expense of society at large.

Notwithstanding my harsh criticism, Britain and America are still amongst the best states in the world to be a citizen of (attracting millions of immigrants to our shores), guaranteeing vital freedoms, which we urgently need to use, to radically reform the system, before it self-destructs, which is what self-exploitation must ultimately lead to.
